Grinning, Lady Texas pulled open the door and stepped inside. She was immediately assaulted by frigid air. Apparently Webmaster G was a big fan of air conditioning. It had to be cranked down to sixty, sixty-five at the most. And since the mid summer nighttime temperature was still ninety plus outside, it was a bit of a shock to the system.
“Heh! We’re closed!” Gilbert’s voice called from the back, sounding annoyed. Then she heard him coming her way, so Lady Texas struck a classic Super Heroine stance and waited with flashing blue eyes. “You’re going to have to…oh! Son of a….Lady Texas!”
“Hello, Gil…ah…Webmaster G,” she said.
He hadn’t changed much since High School. He was only about five foot eight, with a pronounced belly and skinny legs and arms. His dark hair was longer and greasier.
“W-What are you doing here?”
Lady Texas balled her hands into fists upon her well rounded hips. His eyes dropped down when they did, making him swallow with fear. Then, when his eyes came back up, they paused at her 38DDs for a long moment, before continuing to her face. And they had a bad habit of dropping back down to her chest frequently.
